WordPress custom post type and taxonomies

Question

I'm in need to create a simple real estate listing taxonomy with custom post type for properties that I'd be listing on a website.

I don't need any of the fancy things you see on some of the real estate websites around and I want to learn how to do this to improve it in the future when I get more coding skills.

I'm attaching a picture on how the property single page and archive layout needs to look I want to know where do I start learning to accomplish this.

You will need to do the following:

-- First, create a child theme if you haven't done so already. This will save you from losing all your hard work if your main theme needs to get updated. More information on how to this can be found here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
