I'm using facebook connect plugin.

Usernames generated by that plugin look like firstname_lastname. I mean it looks ugly.

I would like to give the privilege to my users to change the username but once.

I hope its like changing the password.

Can anyone help me to modify it?

Will i get any problem if i let the user to change username once?

I would like to give privilege to change username but one time from frontend. I found a plugin.

This plugin let the users to change password based on their role. But it is very outdated and user should be in wp-admin to use this feature. Here is the pastebin version of that plugin.

Can anyone help me to modify that code for frontend using wordpress 3.3 hooks.?
