Annoyingly gmpg.org doesn't have a working https version..I am not sure what to suggest- perhaps ripping it out altogether?

comment Give Author users the right to embed
I have a similar issue where administrators code is stripped like iframe code for youtube or google maps, however Super Admin is not. I don't see any plugins doing this and it is not what I see as normal behaviour. There is no code in functions either..

Ok then I mean catch a 404 for a non existent slug (therfore url) - so a 404 would be about to happen. Thanks for your advice I will checkout the template-loader file.

comment Dynamic URL generates dynamic content
Ok So I can now get the variable in my page but creating a new page has changed the url.. I need the url to be domain.com/advice-on-twitter vs domain/customadvice/advice-on-twitter and the issue is the redirect keeps recursing...because it matches always "advice-on-"

Oh this could work, I will get testing thank you. My issue for not using htaccess was that it couldn't query my list of 'things' but I can do this check later and 404 if the url stripped doesn't match them...TY Marc-Antoine.

comment Any docs for wp_nav_menu's “items_wrap” argument?
I did search the web and others had the same issue I needed to extend the walker class and add my html there this worked ok for me but I had to copy quite a lot of code from the old class and rename it and change it then set the menu to use my custom walker class. Thanks

Thanks for trying to explain. I sort of see it but it isn't working out for me. I want to add say a class to my li items. You seem to be using ul for each item ? I don't see any sprintf in my code either so it's not clear.
