You generally want to have exactly one URL at which content lives or you'll get penalized for duplicate content. Stuff like rel="conical" links can help with this.

@TravisPflanz if you're just looking to check for a logged in user: developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_user_logged_i‌n Otherwise just modify the function to take the username as a parameter instead of being hardcoded.
