This function inserts posts (and pages) into the database. It sanitizes variables, does some checks, fills in missing variables like date/time, etc. It takes an array as its argument and returns the post ID of the created post (or 0 if there is an error).

Somehow adding to "Insert Into URL" posts are contradicting each other
So it turns out I had a few unecessary variables in here.
I didn't need to define formfield as a var because it's unused. I defined it twice.
Because there are two functions sharing common variables …
