How to show recent and upcoming birthdays using meta_query
I have a date of birth user field, I am trying to show recent (past 7 days) and upcoming (next 7 days) birthdays. … I have the below but it is not working because the years in the date of births are different to this current year

Wordpress giving a 404 page when passing a year argument different than the current year
Ok the problem was with using 'year' as the argument name, if I changed it to something else such as 'y' it seems to work.

If an event spans over two different months it is only appearing in the month of the start date.
