Moving existing website to docker
Seems that you are forwarding the wrong port.
This way, the site should be accessible at http://localhost:8080

How to run cronjobs in WordPress on docker
There seems to be a task that takes too long, maybe a plugin update that cannot reach its update site. There should be some hints in the logs.
The WP endpoint is http://yourdomain.com/wp-cron.php.
