All images on my WordPress website animeaheadcom have a white overlay all of a sudden. I have been facing this problem for more than a week now.

I am guessing your theme or a plugin was updated when this happened? Looking in the browser Dev Tools, there's an opacity set on the images.

.elementor-kit-442 img {
    opacity: .1;
}

You should be able to overwrite this in your theme's CSS.

.elementor-kit-442 img {
    opacity: 1;
}
