I'm looking for some help in creating a custom archive page for my WooCommerce products. Currently, my products are assigned to different categories and some are linked to a event (custom taxonomy). On my homepage, I have a section featuring some of these events. When a user clicks on one of these featured events, I'd like to create a custom archive page that displays all the categories of products associated with that event. When a user clicks on one of these categories a shop page will come up with all products in that category that are linked to that event
Maybe needless to say, but I'd like to avoid the step of manually specifying which categories to load.
Here are some details about my website:
- I'm currently using the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce.
- I build my own themes and have experience with customizing WooCommerce templates
- I'm using a custom theme that I developed myself.
If anyone has experience with creating custom archive pages based on custom taxonomy in WooCommerce, or any suggestions for how to achieve this functionality, I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thank you in advance!
