I have this error in a WordPress wp-admin (the error is translated and not sure the exact English error, but I add file name and line number):
in /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/update.php on line 410
Line 410 is the echo of error, but some lines above I see this URL:
$url = 'http://api.wordpress.org/plugins/update-check/1.1/';
And I can curl this URL fine.
I want to update plugins, like Really Simple SSL, but when I hit on update button, I get this error:
cURL error 28: SSL connection timeout
I also checked https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/really-simple-ssl.5.3.5.zip and wget this address, and it works fine. But WordPress cannot update automatically.
Do you please help me how WordPress updates through the wp-admin panel? And it seems it is different from the example address https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/really-simple-ssl.5.3.5.zip.
I have root access to the server, and it is CentOS 7.
