There are several questions on WPSE about disabling certain types of oEmbeds like YouTube videos or blog post preview tiles, or snippets meant to disable previewing them in the post editor.
However, there is no catch-all solution for completely disabling ALL types of auto-embeds on both the frontend AND within the post editor and Gutenberg editor...
Many previously shared snippets no longer work in my recent tests, too.
