Add a Custom Field and his value via SQL

Question

I need a SQL query to add a custom field and his value to a wild number of posts (more than 5000 I think, this is an old news site).

Some post that I manually updated for SEO already have that custom field, but I can't do it for all posts.

Is there a query that can only add that custom field to posts that does not have it ?
