I am using WordPress classic editor and putting some text fields into a page manually like this:

<input type="text" />

<textarea rows="2"></textarea>

However, it's not clear to editors how to delete them easily without going into the html. Is there a way to make a button in the wysiwyg editor here: https://www.screencast.com/t/rfZHTQsq7hMF that, when my cursor is inside one of these text or textarea fields, I can press the button and have it delete that text or text area field the cursor is inside of? Or are there any other ways to do this?

I know if you move the cursor to the end of a text field (outside of it) and press the backspace button, it will work delete it, but again, that's not obvious to my editors.
