i have a corporative website. i want to disable all pages e.g. author/tags/search/taxonomies EVERYTHING they shouldnt be accessible to anyone from the web except post and page types

how should i do this?

i want the easiest and painless way to do this. maybe i can redirect this pages to 404 or block it with nginx ?

  • You can do this by removing the rewrite rules. The last example here should get you close to what you want, you will just need to modify the match string (eg. remove page): wpreset.com/remove-default-wordpress-rewrite-rules-permalinks and don't forget to flush permalinks by saving them as it mentions. – majick Oct 10 '19 at 3:29
