I use this function:

function add_favicon() {
    $favicon_url = get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/images/icons/admin-favicon.ico';
    echo '<link rel="shortcut icon" href="' . $favicon_url . '" />';
add_action('login_head', 'add_favicon');
add_action('admin_head', 'add_favicon');

To add a favicon to wordpress admin and i want to have a black and white version of the site's favicon so it would be clear which tab is front and which tab is admin, but i want to add this to my "basic functions" own plugin so it will automaticly do this for every site i build and not have to do this in illustrator for each site.

Is there any magic code to make the admin favicon black and white? filters, somthing...?

Could be possible using the: imagemagick.org ?
