I run a WP multisite installation and I suddenly got this error:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'WP_Meta_Query' not found in /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/class-wp-site-query.php:273 Stack trace: #0 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/class-wp-site-query.php(254): WP_Site_Query->get_sites() #1 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/ms-site.php(445): WP_Site_Query->query(Array) #2 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/ms-load.php(255): get_sites(Array) #3 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/ms-load.php(311): get_site_by_path('sens.com.sg', '/temp/') #4 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/ms-settings.php(72): ms_load_current_site_and_network('sens.com.sg', '/temp/', false) #5 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-settings.php(123): require('/home/senscoms/...') #6 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-config.php(104): require_once('/home/senscoms/...') #7 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-load.php(37): require_once('/home/senscoms/...') #8 /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once('/home/senscoms/...') #9 /home/se in /home/senscoms/public_html/temp/wp-includes/class-wp-site-query.php on line 273

Which should I do? I'm not a developer so it would be greatly appreciated if your answers outline the instructions in a step-by-step guide please, thank you!!

Steps I've tried to resolve the problem so far:

  1. deactivated all plugins from FTP
  2. uploaded and overwrite fresh wp-admin and wp-includes folder via ftp

but both didn't resolve anything.

Your prompt help is greatly appreciated!

Oh, apparently, all it took was for me to upload and overwrite the existing wp-settings.php with a fresh copy.

Hope it helps anyone who faces the same issue!
