While going throught the settings of W3 Total Cache's database section, I came across the following setting:

[   ] Don't cache queries for logged in users
Enabling this option is recommended to maintain default WordPress behavior.

What I don't understand is: how can caching queries can affect WordPress?

  • You should ask the plugin's developers exactly what it does, but normally the issue with caching logged in users is that you can end up serving up cached versions of pages that show other users' details. – Jacob Peattie Jul 4 '18 at 0:58
