I'm using Event Manager plugin and I will try to hide a category of the event page. I found something in documentation like a short code:

[events_list category=”-16″][/events_list]

But I don't know where to put this shortcode in the settings of event manager, I try to put in the page with CONTENTS, and Layout option of events in general settings in the default list of events.

It's hide the category, but in addition of the full calendar, Such 2 calendars in one... I'm a novice in wordpress and shortcode, so sorry for my lack of knowledge.

Best Regard

  • I use {not_recurrence} for the moment because my category is a recurrent event {/not_recurrence}, but if someone has the answer ! – Cedric Cpn Jun 27 '17 at 10:34
  • Shortcodes are meant to be posted into an editor. So for example, if you create a Page, you would paste the shortcode into either the visual editor or text editor - where you affect actual page content. But be sure to use regular quotes " " - the ones you pasted here are smart quotes and could cause problems. – WebElaine Jun 27 '17 at 21:49
