As the title says, my Woocommerce "Shop" and Categories pages don't show any products.

I am using Woocommerce 3.0.7.

If I go into archive-product.php to see how the products are supposed to be given out I find a loop there that doesn't execute.

Line 46: <?php if ( have_posts() ) : ?>

The issue seems to be that this loop is skipped over and the execution jumps down to line 103 and instead executes wc_get_template( 'loop/no-products-found.php' ); on line 125.

I have no idea why this happens. Here is a list of things I tried out to solve it:

  • re-saved the permalinks, nothing happened.
  • disabled all plugins (except Woocommerce). Nothing happened.
  • if I switch the settings to have the Shop/Category pages display both products and sub-categories I do see the sub-categories. They even show the number of products in the sub-category, but if I click through I get the same "no-products-found" message again.
  • the products themselves are showing up in single-view. No problems there.

So the problem really seems to be that there is something about the products which makes them be ignored by the loop. But I don't know what to look for there.

Thanks for your help!
