Multiple instances of query_posts

Question

I need to have 8 of these on a single page. Each post list will be in its own numbered switch tab.

Is there a better, more efficient way of doing it?

If you have 8 categories, you need 8 queries. To improve your code use WP_Query instead of query_posts:
