Jun 4, 2021 at 13:18 | comment | added | Tony Djukic | I'll look to implement that as well, thanks Sally CJ. I have to focus on the front end design of the rendered blocks first because they're super intricate and I've got people waiting to review.
Jun 4, 2021 at 0:50 | comment | added | Sally CJ | I guess the docs team did not have enough time to update all the docs... (which is why I don't rely completely on the docs and normally I would look at the relevant source code), or it's also possible they missed/forgot certain info/changes, or maybe their docs system automatically reverted/ignored their edits. :) And well, I'm happy that you had such a ("comes across") thought, LOL! Anyway, I don't know about that error in your previous comment, but the excerpt in my revised/reworded answer might help?

I can't be the only one that posts a question on here and then shuts down for the day thinking "I really hope Sally CJ comes across my question." LOL! Well it worked, so thank you. The only thing is that I am using @wordpress/scripts which I added using npm --save-dev --save-exact @wordpress/scripts when I started the project, however if I replace array( 'wp-blocks', 'wp-i18n', 'wp-element', 'wp-block-editor' ) with just array() or any other combination, excluding any of them or all of them, I still get an error. So unless there's an issue I guess I can leave it.

Thanks Sally CJ, I'm going to apply all of this now. The frustrating thing is that I had all of it set up very similar to what you've provided but when it didn't work I started to strip stuff out and simplify things as you do when you debug right... ...but I was using import with wp.editor that I picked up from the documentation and it was only hours later that I found that wp.editor had been deprecated. I didn't realize all the other aspects were still required to get it to even work at it's most basic. Thank you again.
