Mar 28, 2014 at 11:43 comment added gmazzap Are you talking about an excerpt manually inserted when publishing the post? Or an excerpt that is automatically generated from the full post content? In this 2nd case the excerpt is just the full content cut at a certain point... I was referring to that.

Mar 28, 2014 at 11:23 comment added gmazzap If you want to output post content as-is, but just cut at a certain point, probably the use of the_content in combination with <!--more--> quicktag is best choice. See codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_content
