Jan 18, 2014 at 0:04 | comment | added | Toniq | I have place this after I call global $wp_filesystem; and I get NULL. If I place WP_Filesystem(); I also get Fatal error: Call to undefined function WP_Filesystem()

Try var_dump($wp_filesystem); . What do you get?

Jan 17, 2014 at 22:39 | comment | added | Toniq | Yes, I do call global $wp_filesystem; just before I execute put_contents. Does put_contents write to an exisiting file or does it create a file like file_put_contents does?

Jan 17, 2014 at 22:24 | comment | added | Jeremiah Prummer | My guess is that either $this or $wp_filesystem are not properly declared, as both of these should be calling other classes. Make sure you're calling the global $wp_filesystem;
