Feb 26, 2011 at 18:57 comment added Roman Zenka @Rarst Thank you very much for your help. I do think that there is stuff to fix, but it would require changing the architecture of Wordpress to some completely different philosophy, and that is too much work.

I've dumped fresh profile on my local test stack (3.1, MS, Twenty Ten, Theme Unit Test data) and got 1,5s (most of difference seems to be because of custom menu - thing is slooow). So I guess nothing to fix = caching research it is.
