comment Pop-up successful message in Fancybox?
Erm, that wouldn't be helpful as the point was to avoid having the message at the top, then the question was if I can show it in a lightbox without the page jump; also, I don't think that one year ago when I've started the question the [response] code existed, or I just don't remember, not that it would have helped

"I need to execute a shortcode after the user will press the submit button.". This is what I needed.

that wouldn't have been of any help, I've already mentioned the shortcode is working fine; it's content is irrelevant given the question

This is a good approach @Itfishie that gets the job done. Thank you very much for your help!

comment Show ACF fields only on certain page in the backend
I can set it up like: post_type is equal to "xxx" where xxx is the name of my custom post type. But then, for the second condition, I don't see the name of my posts from that xxx custom post type, it would have been piece of cake.

@ltfishie, hang on, I meant a post, since this is a custom post type, My bad. However, it doesn't work either and there is apparently no way to only show these boxes I have created on just one post of a certain custom post type :/.

I know, but I was thinking this is a bit different. I kind of need any info on this, I can do everything by myself, I only need a hint or two as I have been doing everything possible to fix this.

comment Close modal window after form submit
But the problem with this line is that one is jQuery and the other JavaScript and I think that's why the modal gets closed, then a new tab is opened, even if the user doesn't fill in the required fields. How would I write them both in jQuery or JavaScript?

I was looking so long for this, in case anyone else needs the same thing, there you go: on_sent_ok: "$.fancybox.close(); document.getElementById('paynow').click();" where paynow is the id of the submit button.

Thank you so much. This did the trick for me, and it was so simple. Is it possible to chain/trigger a click on a certain link/button I have on the page after the modal window is closed?

comment How to grab metabox value in wp_query meta_query key
I have accepted the answer as it's obvious the answer is the right one based on my question but my problem is still not solved. Anyone have any idea how to achieve that?

I've also realised that I will have to hide the submit button before showing the button from my shortcode.. grr, this is getting worse :/.

The shortcode is working by itself, if I do [book] in page edit, it does show up on my page. I just don't know how to edit the functions file of that CF7 to load my shortcode. Update => I do get the email even if I am not shown the "success" message, by using that function, but what's in the function doesn't show up.

comment How to grab metabox value in wp_query meta_query key
This is what I use to get meta values: <?php global $wp_query; $array = get_post_meta(376,'_my_meta_events',TRUE); ?><?php $my_date = $array['date']; ?> and I've tried to use a variable containing my array value for the key of my meta_query, doesn't work.

I used to have an array with the key with the metaboxes I've done so far, that's why I was asking. If the key will take an array as a value, it will be fantastic. I will try it right now.

comment Query sub subpages based on specific date?
Thanks, sounds pretty simple, I am happy I won't have to do cats and taxonomies and can work it like that with pages/subpages/sub subpages. I will get back here if I am having problems with the query, will try that tomorrow.

Yes, you are right and I know this. But I think Tom misunderstood as my problem comes when I create exact copies or my about page for another page (and change everything accordingly), and that doesn't show nothing but the content of index.php.

Oh, OK, you are right, but I am not trying to achieve that at all. The page created using Pages section is just a landing page for a particular Custom Post Type where I was thinking to get links to the taxonomy created under that specific custom post type. Am I making any sense? Once the login lands on the landing page, he is taken to "singles" and browse between them. Or he is taken to a taxonomy page where I have posts or pages inside.. I think I am going to drop the idea as you guys seem to be so against it, I am a bit frustrated as I've seen people doing it and spent a day already on this.

Hang on a second, the pages are created from Pages, not from the Custom post type menu. Like anyone would create a normal page, assign a template for it. And removing entirely the custom post types functions/code doesn't help either.
