comment Custom pages with plugin
You'd have to use the rewrite api. This shouldn't be too difficult. Make sure to post the data to the second page and you should be fine.

It seems like if you add more than 1 wp_editor and one is true it makes them all true. I wonder if it's due to the static nature of the _WP_Editors::$drag_drop_upload variable? See github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-includes/… I believe you said you weren't using wp_editor on both

Exactly why I don't want to go the direct query route.

The use case for this is the business wants to be able to select a primary taxonomy term across multiple taxonomies. So I am extending the Walker_Category and adding a radio button across each of the term lists for the selected taxonomy. Sorry, hit enter prematurely. Since term_id is not taxonomy/term_id specific, I was looking for a way to guarantee I am getting the right taxonomy/term. My (HACKY) workaround is to make the value comma delimited taxonomy, id.

Are you referring to the HTML elements (e.g. update <input type="text" id="show_header_2" ... to <input type="text" id="show_section[show_header_2" ... ?
