Removing the default sidebar from admin panel There is a default sidebar named "sidebar" when you go to appearance -> widgets. I would like to remove it. |

Removing the default sidebar from admin panel I am looking for the actual container for the widgets and not the widgets themself. Thanks though, I am currently using this in my functions.php file as well. |

Best practice for implementing a blog page / section in wp_menu_nav() Thank you for the reply, I maybe did not ask my question correcly or it was unclear. What I ended up needing to do is built into WP 3. In the general settings page you can set a page to be your loop page and display all posts. All i need to do was to configure the settings in the admin panel and voila! |

Workflow and best practice for documentation Thank you @Rarst +1 to you. This all is very valuable information and greatly appreciated. Something that has worked for us in the past has been to create Video tutorials for each theme and give the client a walkthrough on each video. I like the idea of creating some type of documentation per theme that is directly accessible within the admin and having an html doc with some embedded videos, etc. The wp-help plugin seems very close to the lines of what I am thinking. I will post some answers as I explore this more. Sweet plugin btw and thanks again! |

using jQuery Cycle by Malsup with WordPress Page and Gallery Thank you for your reply Wyck, My meaning plugin meant I did not want to rely on a WP plugin, I would like to accomplish this by using WordPress' built in WP Gallery. I am a front-end developer who spends some time in WordPress but not that often, so making the JS work is not an issue. I would like the client to be able to edit the cycle on the respective page by just editing the gallery within that page. |

using jQuery Cycle by Malsup with WordPress Page and Gallery I meant that I do not want to use a WP plugin. I want to cycle through the images in the WP Gallery tag feature and wrap those images in jQuery cycle. |
