I work for a small investment and loan company. I take care of the main software (built by yours truly), that deals with the accounting. I also do lots of freelancing work related to web-based software.

I have successfully built my own custom CMS, that I started in 2009 and released the first time in 2010. Hoping to publish it for commercial usage.

Been developing websites for 11 years now. Mostly with PHP and JavaScript.

I got two Benz's and I love to drink coffee.

comment How to add filter to __() and _e()?
Thank you for answering, works great. However, what would be the filter for the the_content() as it appears, __() and _e() don't automatically apply for that.

comment Show one of the taxonomies always as default
Thank you for answering, however this didn't work for me at all. The comments didn't explain or refocus as much as needed and there was no additional information in your post :(

comment How to hook custom taxonomies to custom post types and make the permalinks work?
Your right on the money! I actually got this EXACTLY the same method working last night. My overall solution was, that the custom taxonomy slug was simply: "news/category" and indeed the template-name for custom taxonomy would be taxonomy-news_category.php Works 100% like I wanted.

Oh double sorry, Didn't see the $wp_query->query_vars['post_type']=='myposttype'. Works basically. This is a good basis for more dynamic solution for sure, thanks!

Oh sorry, didn't see the $class = '';. However, cant I get the normal classes dynamically and also how to make the currently active link to work?

comment How to add custom post type archive page links to nav menu?
Thank you for answering. This seems to basically work. However, the formatting of the URL needs some tweaking. And I was hoping maybe you know about WP more then I. So currently the url is: example.com/?post_type=myposttype but should be example.com/myposttype. Maybe simply $url = site_url() . 'myposttype';? And the classes are not being included, including the currently active one.

comment How to dynamically change theme's slogan from admin?
Yes, but as I stated before. It directs to /options.php url and basically, doesn't change the slogan..

I understand now, but for the record. register_setting( 'cms-options', 'slogan ); there should be ' after slogan. Also, there is no submit button and it seems not to save the option.. it redirects it to some other option page.

Yes! Thats the solution I'm looking for. However, I can't seem the custom fields to work. Tried get_post_custom_values('second_header');, but nop.
