comment Conditional statements based on custom meta value in category archives
The JS won't load at all in archive pages and front pages. e.g looking at my code, the <script></script> doesn't appear at all. It also doesn't appear if I remove the is_singular condition on these archive pages. @s_ha_dum yes. I need it to only execute if the meta value for _prefix_hide_page = 1

@s_ha_dum thanks! That's what I've been doing - well similar but yeah. I too am looking for a better alternative but seems like that's what I have to resort to.

@Milo I understand what you're saying, I'm no JS expert so I can't say if there is something wrong or not. Most times I'm enqueing a jQuery plugin. The latest one I tried was a jQuery countdown timer and it just won't work in the footer.

Thank you so much Stephen I tried your solution and it did work. Now... I have to figure out how to send attachment hosted elsewhere. Thanks for the pointer where to look!

That means I can't have them send an attachment that is hosted elsewhere e.g. Amazon S3? I was afraid of that. I'm just trying to give people the option to email a PDF to Kindle directly from a web page. Anyhow I'll try this later and report back.

Thank you Stephen for following up... ok $_Post['file'] is actually a URL to the file and I have confirmed the URL is correct. Is that acceptable?
