comment Contact Form 7: How do I move Validation Error Tip outside of form?
Yeah I had to dig into the help to realize it was off topic. I got thrown off by the first line: "WordPress Stack Exchange is for WordPress developers and administrators to ask questions about: theme and plugin development" -- thinking this was plugin development. And it isn't... this is developing WITH a plugin. Very different. I'd vote that this gets removed, if it were me, as now that you've mentioned it, I can see that it IS off topic. @MarkKaplun

@shea a lot of themes include a custom styles panel within the Appearance menu, it's a pretty common thing I've seen in WordPress.

I just updated my answer as I realized I didn't actually answer your question. Use the each command with the index, and apply the player_[index] id. See above.

Actually answer the question, as I see that I didn't initially. Add a variable in for src, and use each's index as a counter.

@BradDalton—updated the original post to try to give it more clarity, does that help?

As I wrote in the original post: I'm using a 'pagebuilder' type of CMS, where the layout is dictated by the user within the post page. Because of this, the template controls are basically unused (in an if/else statement). Where the next/previous links have to appear are then controlled in the layout builder, and the only really easy way to set this up for non-coder type page owners is with shortcodes.
