I'm developing both code and my own company Wibergs Web. I live in Skövde, Sweden - and I'm enjoying life even though I haven't seen any polar bears here recently ;-)

Ok, thanks very much for the clarification and your effort trying to make sense of my question :-)

Yes, but if you read_ "When taxonomy-brands.php is saved, we can now visit example.com/cameras/brands/canon to view our Custom Taxonomy archive:". It does not say that you can access example.com/cameras/brands directly. I've tried this as well, just by adding has_archive to true in the cpt, but still it does not work as I wanted to.

Hm. I can't get this to work either (even it seems most logical). I still don't understand. Should I access the page with domain/taxonomy-categorycourses ? (I tried that and tried domain/categorycourses) but I still have the same issue.

comment Ajax returning correct data BUT at wrong place
I actually used json_encode in my first attempt, but then I didn't have die() in the end of the ajax-function... therefore the confusion.

YES, thank you. It was as simple as that!!! :-) I thought the ajax-hooks were handling this automatically because some tutorials I have read did just put echo 'string' and did not do any json-encoding on the serverside. Thanks a lot!

@tokmak - I'm not loading any actual posts, just some data from html-elements (not a form).

comment Pass the post ID
IF your $post is a $post object, then just use $post->ID . In your js-code you could just simple do <?php echo $post->ID;?> where you want it.

comment wordpress in wamp lan doesn't load css
It's obvious. You don't have the CSS/JS LAN - development kit - plugin for Wordpress;-) No just kidding. A guess would be that it is htacess-related or it's that simple that it points to incorrect css/js - file.

comment How to use IN array properly in Wordpress?
Why is this safer/better? I'm not interested in fetching objects really. The thing I want to do is just to count number of occurences for each course (course_3202 = 14, course_course_3201 = 22 etc).

comment How do I show errors after validation with a custom form frontend?
Thanks for your extended answer. I am actually doing that check in jQuery. But for safety I must have server-side validation as well. But I still didn't get the answer on my actual question :-) (How do I pass the actual errors from checkFrontEndRegistration() to the frontEndRegistration() ? (I mean class_errors would just be an empty array if there are nothing in array $errors that is specified)

How do I pass the actual errors from checkFrontEndRegistration() to the frontEndRegistration() ? It's a correct assumption, by the way.

comment Why can't I update username through Wordpress API?
Ok, thank you! :-) (I asked because I thought there was some real issue with the change of usernames. It seems it's all about taking precaution)

So basically - you can't do it through the API because that would make the WP - developers responsible? ;-)

comment Why can't I update username through Wordpress API?
I know HOW to do solve the issue, but I was asking WHY I have to directly against the db instead of through the API. I think it would make more sense for it to be available through the API, because the API could control diffrent things/errors/warnings that could error when changing the username.
