How to debug/diagnose RSS feed that's not working? Bear in mind Nginx doesn't use .htaccess, so anything that shows up in that file won't make any difference to the server. Can you paste your site's server configuration in your original question? |

How to debug/diagnose RSS feed that's not working? What server are you using (Apache, Nginx, etc.)? Does your site use rewrite rules for permalinks? Also, what's the URL to your site? We might be able to to see what's happening directly and assist better. |

How to remove the index.php in the url? You'll also want to make sure 'index index.php' is added inside the location rules. |

Sidebar.php in plugin to override theme's sidebar.php Are you completely replacing the default sidebar, or will you be using it in addition to the new sidebar? If you're completely replacing it, you can just set up the default sidebar to do what you want it to. If there's custom code needed, just create sidebar.php within your child theme's directory and it will override the sidebar.php file in the parent theme. If you're going to use both sidebars, you can write conditional code in sidebar.php to pull the right sidebar depending on the page a user is on. |

Sidebar.php in plugin to override theme's sidebar.php Are you asking whether you can have custom sidebars for specific posts or pages without having to create an entire template for that? |

Sidebar.php in plugin to override theme's sidebar.php A sidebar is simply a block of code intended to be displayed as a secondary element on a page, in conjunction with the main content. It's intended to be reusable across pages and posts. A dynamic sidebar is simply a sidebar that's able to be managed using the Widgets interface in WordPress admin. |

Problems with permalinks (.htaccess not working) It doesn't appear that there's any <files> directive for index.php, and based on the <Directory> directives you have set it will be denied. Perhaps add a <files> directive to allow access to index.php |
