Categories for Pages Not Saving in Admin with Custom Categories Metabox? Hi Mike, the problem appears to be with wordpress 3.0.1 (the same function works fine in 2.9). I don't want to add all the categories to the page editor, only these specific 2. Its more for simplicity than anything else. Do you know what might have changed after 2.9 that would make this function not retain or pass the values? |

Related posts widget or plugin needed Wow Chris. Great answer. Above and beyond really. The only thing that I'm a bit hesitant about is that in the example it looks to me like the related posts are contextual and not based on category (if you highlight over the items and look at the URLs, you can see they belong to different cats). Anyway, A great answer! |

Categories for Pages Not Saving in Admin with Custom Categories Metabox? @Mike> This is on the "PAGE" editor, so there's no category meta box there. That's really why I'm adding a meta box for this purpose. This works fine when I ad noindex or nofollow to a post, using the default categories widget. |
