comment Hosting multiple Wordpress sites on single server - best practices?
@IvanRF This is very old... I haven't used multisite in years. Originally I used it for supporting multiple sites on a single install since I had one hosting account. I seem to recall there was a domain management plugin, can't remember the name. Since then I move to having a reseller account where I can set each client in his own hosting account, so I moved to the regular wordpress install. This resolves a lot of issues (maintenance windows, client account access and more). Still for certain use cases multisite is an excellent solution.

You're basically saying there is no solution... but it's apparently the correct answer :-(

comment the_content not working on one of two Multisite sites
This answer makes a lot of sense, especially because the way the behavior happens only in certain places on the site, however, I checked this and went over all the instances where the_content() was being manipulated in my theme and plugins, and I couldn't find a single instance of this (where a return doesn't happen). I know this makes my question super localized, but it is still a problem.

comment Add custom field to all posts in specific category
Instead of running it through functions, which adds a risk of someone running the code twice by mistake, do it with a onetime php file... Also this plugin comes highly recommended
