Wordpress developers, you might find this useful, it's a bash script I wrote to synchronize development and production sites:

SyncDB v0.1

https://github.com/jplew/SyncDB

SyncDB is bash deploy script meant to take the tedium out of synchronizing local and remote versions of a Wordpress site. It allows developers working in a local environment (eg. MAMP) to rapidly "push" or "pull" changes to or from their production server with a single terminal command.

wp-content, because you want to search through your themes and plugins. wp-includes is part of Wordpress core so I doubt it would contain any references to AddThis.

try grepping your entire wordpress folder for 'addthis'. From your root: grep -irn "addthis" *. It's bound to be in there somewhere.

comment Redirect from domain.com to subdomain.domain.com
do you have separate Wordpress sites set up in each of your subdomains? If so, I can't understand why you would want to structure your site like this, because your databases won't communicate with each other. For example if you create a post in domain.com, you'll have to recreate it in subdomain.domain.com. Are you sure this is what you want to do?

I knew about that already, but thanks for the suggestion. I always have that to fall back on in case this doesn't work. According to his tutorial he's putting the <i> tag directly in the Navigation Fields: jasonbradley.me/icons-in-the-wordpress-menu/#comment-742

@Milo: great, thanks for the insights! Hehe, I just noticed you have a great answer on the topic here: wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/52480/…

comment is_home() and is_front_page() not working in sidebar
@Milo: won't adding a new WP_Query object reduce the page-load speed? My assumption was that simply modifying the existing query would yield better performance than running a separate query.

@Milo & @splashingpixels: thanks for the tips, problem solved. You are correct, is_front_page() is matching correctly. I was confused because when I print_r($wp_query), is_front_page does not even show up as a property, while all the rest of the conditional tags are there. If it's not in the WP_Query object, then where is the "is_front_page" flag set?
