comment Same permalink structure for all post types?
Also you make a good point on the slugs. This seems like there would be a lot of different things I would need to think about... I am guessing that my only option is really to use tags but the problems with tagging is that they aren't hierarchical and not sure that would differentiate things enough.

comment Same permalink structure for all post types?
The thing is it is more of a knowledgebase. So product1 might have 50-200 different custom posts associated with it. As we find more ways to categorize our documentation we create more custom post types to handle different sets of data. I would like a user to go the products1 page and see all of the custom types associated with products1. Does that make sense? If there is an easier/better way to do it I am all ears.

comment What is the cron doing?
@cybmeta - learning_options is my options table. And plugins write to the options table. If I knew for 100% sure it was a P3 issue I would write them.

@Chris - I will look but I think it is P3. When I was using P3 using the admin interface - not knowing how the plugin worked I had a scheduled job for it to scan my site and report plugin issues. Maybe you are right but I am almost positive these were registered as cron jobs. I guess I could tell on my sandbox.

comment Why did my manual upgrade fail?
Are all of the same major versions running scripts that look back at the DB upgrades? This isn't a theme issue or incompatible plugin.

@birgire - I guess an addendum to my question is, "Why can't wordpress recognize my version and then upgrade the DB appropriately?" - will edit.

comment How to figure out which wordpress theme a site was using?
I like the website but it was 0 for 3. The problem is most big shops that start their own theme, take an existing theme, and first thing do a copy and replace with the theme name/special conventions. So the website is just getting the meta info that any decent company would change to point to them. Obviously I have checked the css.
