comment How to display user_meta from form?
The difficulty being that I have been unable to get the LOCATION to display on the user profile page. I have written the following but I think I'm missing something if anyone knows what I need to add so that the LOCATION displays? <?php echo $locs = get_user_meta($uid, 'user_location', true); ?>

comment Attempting to display User Meta details from form
The code in the first snippet contains a dropdown list of 'Locations' for the user to choose. What would I then write so I could display the user's chosen location on my webpage?

comment Trying to display user meta by “name” - not by “ID”
Is there an easy way to display the LOCATION BY NAME (rather than ID NUMBER)? I have included the code that was used for the page where the form is: <?php $locs = get_user_meta($uid, 'user_location', true); echo PricerrTheme_get_categories("job_location", !isset($_POST['job_location_cat']) ? $locs : htmlspecialchars($_POST['job_location_cat']) , __('Select Location','PricerrTheme'), "do_input"); ?> </p>

That didn't work unfortunately. If it helps, the taxonomy = "job_location" when I hover over the category name. And "job_location_cat" is also mentioned in the code.

comment All “Featured Images” not displaying after Wordpress update
After deactivating the Better WP Security plugin, that fixed the problem and all the Featured Images are appearing again. So now that introduces a new problem - a less secure website!

comment How to display only one category in a custom post type?
The above didn't work...I tried to include the rest of the code but the post got deleted for some reason. I simply just want the page to display the 'Games' category - what can I add to the above code to make it work?

comment How to exclude 2 Portfolio Categories from page?
So what would I need to add/remove from the above code so it doesn't show IDs 4 and 23 (which are PORTFOLIO categories)?

comment How to get only ONE category of “Portfolio” posts to display on main page rather than ALL categories?
Oh thank you, that was perfect! Similarly, I'd like to display all portfolio categories but EXCLUDE 'events' in another section. I've tried the below and a few variations but it didn't work? $args_for_latest = array( 'numberposts' => 5, 'offset' => 0, 'orderby' => 'port_date', 'order' => 'DESC', 'post_type' => 'port', 'post_status' => 'publish' 'tax_query' => array( 'taxonomy' => 'portcat', 'terms' => 'events' 'field' => 'slug', 'operator' => 'NOT IN' ) ) );
