Thanks very much chifliiiii I haven't had a chance to get back to this yet but I'll take a closer tomorrow and let you know how it works, and paste in my code if necessary.

comment Custom Taxonomy URL
Thanks so much for the response. It worked perfectly - although I did need to add 'division/%division%/' will note this in my question.

Thanks, that works to get the taxonomy name 'division' into the url, but what I'd like is for 'division' to be replaced by it's category name.

comment Return single taxonomy term outside the loop
Is there any way to just limit get_terms to showing the first term?

You're right $queried_term is empty, but $taxonomy returns the correct taxonomy. I just checked and in my example above queried_term also returns empty, even though it returns the terms.

Sorry about that, yes it is a taxonomy page then. The code I posted above using get_terms() was working so that means your code should work too right?

No, this is going in the title tag, called only on the taxonomy page though.

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't seem to return anything for me.

comment Pagination that includes “view all on one page”
I appreciate your help but you're assuming too much knowledge on my part I think, how exactly would I fit this into the above pagination function?

comment Pagination that includes “view all on one page”
Do I add the if/else statement on the functions.php file (where the pagination code resides) or on the page where I'm calling <?php numeric_pagination(); ?> ? Thanks, I can see what you're saying way up above my head there but I'm not taking it all in.

See above, I've added my code that is almost working, pagination still remains though.

Sorry for the delay, couldn't get to my work computer this weekend! I've edited the above to show what I've come up with (not much unfortunately)

I've been trying to work this out but my knowledge is pretty limited, do you think you could give me a bit more detail on how to make this work?
