comment How to disable page delete
@BrianFegter Can't get this to work in WP 3.3.2. Did something change? I changed restricted_users and restricted_pages to correspond to my page and user.

@kaiser I elaborated now, still feels kind of fuzzy to me aswell. I'm not sure I've got the right approach.

@JoshuaAbenazer No, I don't think so, but please elaborate if possible. I've updated my question to be (hopefully) more clear.

comment Sort wp_nav_menu() by menu order
Thanks for your comprehensive answer. I realize now, that the approach I had to this issue the opposite of what I should be looking for. I have implented a custom menu, similar to the one that you find in Apperance -> Menus. What I want to do is send the order created in this menu to wp_nav_menu so that is the order seen in the front end. Sorry for this. I put up a new question if you have any insight (wordpress.stackexchange.com/q/59279/2830) Thanks!

Right. No other way? I deliberately disabled that because a new top level menu item would mess with my design.

Oh, that works like a charm! Thanks so much. Is there some easy way to have the page be brought back to the nav menu if the page is untrashed?

@toscho I also found this, but not really sure if it applies to my problem: wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/52408/2830 Tried this to no avail: pastebin.com/5NHqC2S1

@toscho I am yet to find something to try out, the only code I've found is the one that reverses the array, not quite what I'm looking for. Maybe it's possible to do something in the walker, but it's too complex for me to understand (it's from the roots framework: pastebin.com/W5ja5dGJ)

Oh, that's unfortunate. I'll mark this as the accepted answer for now. Hopefully there will be a hook in the future.

comment How do you use a CPT as the default home page?
@EAmann Thanks for the code! It works as it should, although it changes the title of the frontpage to Title of Post | Homepage name, can this be changed to just be the Homepage name, in someway?

comment Insert attachments from custom uploader into post (regular uploader style)
Thanks for your reply. I googled around, all I could find is how to incorporate that code into a button in TinyMCE. How can I make a link within my metabox that sends images to the editor?

@kaiser Is it possible to add an "insert into post" button, much like the regular uploader works?

Thanks so much! Works splendid. I want it to work with every CPT created. What more should I exclude to make sure I don't run into problems?

comment Nav Menu – Add class based on meta keys
@ampt Ok, now I see. If I visit the actual page that has the meta key, it shows up, but I need the meta key as a class at all times (some menu items should be red, some green etc).
