I thought you should use the extract function to get the src url from the PDF, but I think it isn’t correct if I heard you :) and nd I had in my head when you add the your PDF file with add media inside a post, there will be create an url of the file and that the user set the iframe shortcode around the link. But if you know a better way to do this, I like to hear it from you!

I think this will also be confusing. The client should paste the pdf always in a shortcode and after some time they maybe forget it to use. But it is also a possibility. But if there is a option that it will automatically add a shortcode between the PDF it would also be nice!

That’s a possible solution, but I think that is for the client confusing.. I will think about that. Thank you.

@PieterGoosen, I think I'm almost there, but maybe you can help me from here. I now get all post type posts listed on a page and not only the posts of that page which is linked to the CPT. Here my template code snippi.com/s/ruuujph also I used the following reference of the codex and than the part “ Output a list of all public custom post types " codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_post_types

@PieterGoosen, Thnkx I think this is what I searching for. But is the meta registration needed? Because I only want to display all custom post types in the same template.
