Still a student @HAN (Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen) in The Netherlands.

I'm still learning, get stuck now and then on basic stuff, but getting better and better with HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery, PHP and MySQL. A combination which I prefer as I'm quite a result based person.

Also, looks like you have the add_action inside of the function it is supposed to execute. And, have you also included the file which creates the CPT in your functions.php?

Apart from the question title. What is (not) happening? Any errors? Logs? What happens if you echo '<pre>'; print_r( $post ); echo '</pre>'; after "` :the_post(); //paste here`"

comment Share buttons on article footer
It seems to work. Much simpler than the accepted answer. A downside with a production or shielded environment though: I can't confirm this works until the site I'm working on goes live. Working on localhost and on a live server with IP based restrictions during development. So the social media sites cannot find the articles to share.

comment How to restrict dashboard access to Admins only?
You sir, get a +1! :) Been looking for this for hours! Also a small improvement. Single site your check is sufficient. For multi-site you'd want to replace manage_options with manage_network. The latter would disable the dashboard also for default "site administrators" but leave access available for Super Administrators (Network admins).

comment Allow roles below admin to add subscribers only
I personally haven't and would like the answer to that ;) Even when going into the database and manually changing default_role from subscriber to anything, after the next refresh of the site, or a specific blog in multi-site, the value has been reset to subscriber.

comment How to display custom taxonomy
Also, have you bound your CPT (Custom Post Type) products to link to the object (term/taxonomy) of city? If not, do so as well. Have a look at the "taxonomies" Argument (halfway down the page) here.

Have you tried a template file city.php ? Basing this of 'category' being a taxonomy and there's category.php.

comment How to prevent first post and first comment on WP MU?
Nice, thanks for this. Btw, there's a ':' after restore_current_blog() instead of ';'. Just FYI. (1 char edit...)

Small addition to explain for future usage of this function that a `created_on` field needs to be added to a new users' metadata with the blog_id the user was created on.

Thank you for the quick answer. I will start on a workaround for that and post that as well. I might not be the only one bumping into this.
