comment Display specific WooCommerce products to different types of users
I wasn't trying to use WP's role capabilities; I guess I was trying to create my own. I wanted to use something (Cimy Extra User Fields plugin) to record additional data about each user (type and area) and then somehow filter the products using that information. I appreciate the detailed and thoughtful answer, but I'm not sure that I understand it completely. I'll have to delve into "template parts" more thoroughly to get a better understanding before trying to implement your suggestion. Thanks again!

Thanks for your answer, kaiser. I didn't list all of the ideas I've tried so far as it would have been a MUCH longer question. I don't quite understand why "plugin recommendations" aren't allowed, but I appreciate your bringing this to my attention.

comment How can I add a delay to the collapsible menu in Twenty Eleven?
This is my question, but apparently I used a temporary login to create it so I can't comment (versus this "answer").... I used the suggestion by helgatheviking as a starting point and found a WP plugin (cleverly named "Superfish Menus") that added Superfish effects to my nav menu. However, I get the fade effect but NO delay. I even tried to manually adjust the code for a 10-second delay and it doesn't honor a delay at all. Does anyone know of a reason that the stock WP menu system in 3.5.1 would not allow this delay?
