How to prevent deleting of comments when deleting a post The comments should stay in the database, i aggregate them with other comments which share the same meta value and they show all together on 1 relevant page. I intend to use it for a product comparison website. |

How to prevent deleting of comments when deleting a post While testing the above script i noticed that the posts did not get deleted in the theme i used before, they just vanished for some reason but they where still in the database and there was no recycle bin, it never showed me a recycle bin with deleted posts. I have now switched to another theme and i just noticed this theme moves them to the recycle bin AND the recycle bin showes up. Conclusion: I still need the code to prevent the deletion of comments. I can't use the code from my old theme since it never deletes the whole post (makes it invisible) and my whole databse would be cluttered up. |

How to prevent deleting of comments when deleting a post The code merges all comments from the post id's i specify in the array. I thought it would be of use for someone if i posted what i already have. I also said that it is the aggregate function. |
