comment How to activate “Description” metabox for menu item programmatically?
It may not be related the the original question, but a search on here for "nav description" brought this post as the first result. Which in turned answered the question that I came here with on how to display nav descriptions. Upvote for that.

Are you putting that entire piece of PHP in a template file or in functions.php? Also, strip_tags is why you're not getting your span tags. Its only set to allow a or anchor tags. See answer below

Perfect. Thanks again.

Thanks for the answer. I am also using the Members plugin for roles and capabilities; however it does not give options to remove or restrict some of the admin menu pages (like the ones in my function). So that is the reason for removing them via a function.

I have been over thinking this since yesterday afternoon. Post your comment as an answer and I'll accept it. Worked like a charm.

I have been in contact with my host a couple times. They do not seem to have an answer. I've 777'd the entire directory just for testing purposes, and that did not help. That of course if file permissions though.

I am not using that plugin. I read several things regarding cache issues also, but I am not using a cache plugin. Thanks for the answer though.

Here's the link to Photocrati: photocrati.com They currently own and maintain NextGen. I've tried everything under the sun to get this corrected, including disabling all plugins. The theme support team also can't figure this one out. I was hoping as a last straw here that somebody had maybe seen this before with this theme. I may be S.O.L. on this and just have to do a rebuild.

I just rolled back WP to 3.4.2, and unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem.

To be honest I don't know when the problem started, but I'll assume after upgrading to 3.5. This site has literally not been touched in over a year aside from the occasional login to backup/update. I just recently noticed this problem when the client requested some additions to the site. As far as being beyond the scope of the site, I felt it better fit this site than StackOverflow where I regularly visit.

comment Portfolio Slideshow Sliders Behaving Oddly When in jQuery Ui Tabs
Adding it into the click function did not work; however adding .page-id-356 #portfolio-slideshow0, .page-id-356 #portfolio-slideshow1 {width: 880px!important;} to the theme stylesheet worked just fine. Thanks. I'm accepting your answer.

I realize the main image div is being reset/resized. I selected this site rather StackOverflow as I think its more of a WordPress plugin issue that strictly JS. I could be wrong. I also have an account there, however that is somewhat irrelevant. If the answers here don't produce a resolution I'll consider StackOverflow.

Thanks for the answer, this is bizarre for sure. Where exactly is the init.js file located? I don't see it inside the Portfolio Slideshow plugin directory. I'm certainly willing to try your answer though. I think I'd need to narrow down the selector a bit more though as there are several #portfolio-slideshow0 selectors throughout the site.
