wordpress login blank screen localhost is probably the correct setting, if the database is on the same server as the web server. Check the error logs on the web server for any errors. try setting WP_DEBUG to true in you wp_config.php file and check if you get any error output in the browser. |

How can you upload an image from within a settings page? It would be so nice with a full example of the validation callback functions. I can't seem to make it work. |

How to get ID of the page included with get_page()? Did you ever find a solution for this, I have the same problem where a shortcode function needs to know on what page it was defined. And that page is included (through get_page()) into another: I can only get the post_id from the "hosting" page. |

Intermittently missing pages and posts in WordPress I have tried that. Actually you only have to visit the permalinks page to flush the rewrite rules, save is not necessary. But alas, this did not help my problem. |

Preview posts returns 404 I will try it, but changing a core file is never a good idea, especially not when a new release of WordPress is just around the corner. |

Preview posts returns 404 Brian: Unfortunately, that results in the same error. (You do not have permission to preview drafts) |
