I'm an architect with a passion for programming and a crush on WordPress. I've started programming for my own needs but ended up building complex websites for friends at first and later for clients.
While I still consider myself much more gifted and prepared as an architect than a web-designer, I used the economic crisis (affecting constructions, hence planning) as an opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge as a programmer and web-developer.
I've come to customize WP front and back ends to an extent I initially thought was reserved for pro's, but I still have trouble considering myself a professional web-developer and probably always will, regardless of results.

How may I filter get_users() similarly to pre_get_posts? This looks like what I was looking for. I'll give it a spin and get back with feedback. Thank you very much. |

How may I filter get_users() similarly to pre_get_posts? In order to apply this to every use of get_users, I'd have to alter all plugins who use the function, so I won't be able to update them. I was looking for something that would append query vars to any use of get_users made by plugins and even core, depending on $current_user custom meta value. |
