Adding Shortcode to Text Widget As I mentioned, I tried adding the add_filter( 'widget_text', 'shortcode_unautop'); add_filter( 'widget_text', 'do_shortcode'); which I mentioned above in the functions.php code, but didn't work. And when I tried this, I had the plugin installed. The shortcode does work on the pages and posts, just not in the text widget. |

Adding Shortcode to Text Widget I definitely don't want to run PHP code in the widgets.. I would like to be able to use shortcodes to run in the widget. Is there a possible way to do this besides the attempts I tried in my post? |
