comment Blending Foundation's Tabs with Wordpress Nav Menu & Display Active Tab
The wp_nav_menu() functionality is really nice but Foundation's tabs are set-up using Definition List mark-up and not the normal <ul> or <ol>. I'm not sure if that's why it's not working but... it's not working. **Developing...**

Is this harder than I thought? I believe much of it can be achieved by ripping this code down and using the wp_nav_menu setup to declare markup before and after each link to generate the Tabs BUT then I lose the "active tab" functionality that I desire... this is a tough one for me! I'd appreciate any input, answers, suggestions, ideas... thanks!

I'm not promoting a site but I'm extremely curious, is there a reason my entire original post was pulled onto this site? wjobs.meshwebdev.com/jobs/… I'm trying to fix the below problem I've been describing to guiniveretoo and Googling a solution like mad. Well, the above link popped and I just wanted to bring it to attention. FYI...

I can't figure how to make it so the true Home page is displaying the active tab... What is the slug for your domain? My home page for this project is not a static, it's my front page...

Just curious, where are you hosting your site? I don't mean the provider/company - I mean what's the URL to where you have your files for your entire website/Wordpress install? From the above, it looks as if you're in the /cgi-bin directory? Is that so?

I also just realized, I want to make this theme as easy as possible for the end user to customize. I've already gone ahead and enabled the menu support in my functions.php file, how can I use your code above but make it so the enduser can still customize the tabs in the backend? (Wordpress 3.4+) - I'm going to attempt and add a few key customizable features for the Wordpress Dashboard. Thanks!

comment Using Images in Wordpress - Best Practices
See, this isn't a question that is on a certain string of code, it's a best practices question and is more to see how others in the Wordpress community are doing things. Reading the Codex and going "by the book" is one thing, but I find I gain more perspective when I bounce these kind of ideas/questions off others. I will make an attempt to clarify that better next time Wyck, thanks for your comment.

thanks for the input! I'm developing a true Starter theme so, I want it flawless... even these hurdles that seem so small, make a big difference! Thought of I was on the right path, I do use wp_enqueue_* as well so, getting there! LOL
