comment Stop post submission without losing data?
Well the system itself is multiple thousands of lines over tens of files; and I'm not sure what of that would be relevant considering I haven't come to a conclusion on how to approach the issue. I found some code using WordPress's wp_insert_post_empty_content, but it wouldn't carry content, title, etc. back on redirect.

comment Create terms when registering taxonomy?
Can term_exists be called on every page load? Or should I be careful to only put it on like a setup page or plugin activation?

comment Attachment Image using wrong src?
Yeah, I discovered what was going wrong, and your answer was the help that caused that, so I gave you the points. It was a much more general issue of devs not talking to eachother (another guy flipped the featured rotator to a widget area, but left the template part, so I just assumed that was the one being used); but I used your code, and it was cleaner than mine.

No dice :(, it's literally showing as <img width="250" height="250" src="http://DOMAIN/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Sailormoon-150x150.jpg" /> :/

comment Pull post meta with post_query?
Well perfect, I've never seen much on the caching in Wordpress, and didn't know it caught post meta, that's really good to know. And I'll swap out query posts too, thanks!
