I'm not going to add this as an answer because I'm not confident enough...but doesn't your class need to be instantiated? Perhaps outside of your class something like this $var = new map_class(); add_shortcode( 'map', array( $var, 'map_callback' ); Also, if you add your js using wp_enqueue_script() in which case you can specify that it depends on jQuery or whatever and not worry too much about the load order.

right, it's not going to work if a caption doesn't already exist. What about filtering the_content?

comment can't access dashboard and showing forbidden page
and by 'forbidden' to you mean 403 error? Check file permissions and web server configuration.

comment can't access dashboard and showing forbidden page
The notice (not error) that you're seeing isn't likely the cause of your inability to to access the dashboard (but it does need to be fixed). Take a look at your error logs to see if there are any other clues - i.e. actual errors that will point you in the direction.

That doesn't help me much - maybe someone who is familiar with this particular theme might have some insight. However, I'm just going to take a guess here that since the disqus identifier is being echoed out, that this particular function is only being called on single post pages...I could be wrong. What is the result of your failed attempt? Do you get h1 tags on single posts?

The code you posted looks to me like it should work just fine. It is not clear, however, how the title() function is being called. Can you shed some light on that? From where in your template is it being called from?

comment Jetpack - stats_get_csv period parameter
The way I read your question though, you're interested only in posts created for some time period. Jetpack is unaware of publish dates, so while you will get pageview data for the defined time period, those pageviews may very well be for posts created outside of the defined time period. I've done something similar and used a custom loop to fill an array with posts published in my time period, then check my array against the array returned by jetpack.

comment short code not working in custom post type listing, how to fix it?
Are you using a custom loop to output your custom post type? If so, can you share that code?

comment How to get this JavaScript working with get_permalink
I guess the example above sort of assumed that you would be doing this only on single posts. If you're doing this on an archive page and each of the posts in the archive needs to have its own javascript variable defined then you're going to have to take a different approach. Perhaps hook in to the_content filter and append your javascript variable there. Since the_permalink is readily available during the loop, and since it is presumably already being output, I would use jQuery to traverse the dom to the appropriate anchor tag and use its href as my variable.

can you clarify this phrase: "depending on what user chosen in admin" are you trying to ask "depending on which configuration options are chosen?"?
